NH Marine Corrosion Guard is a rust inhibitor oil that forms a water displacing, moisture resistant, non-conductive barrier on non-painted, and painted surfaces. Use to prevent rust from forming on outdrives, lower units, and power trim motors and electrical components or other metal surfaces.

You can wash your vehicle immediately after the treatment. (avoid high-pressure undercarriage washing) Unlike other preventing methods, it will not trap moisture. It literally pushes it away, leaving behind a corrosion-fighting lubricating film.

Check with your dealer, each shop is independently owned and operated. In most cases, if your vehicle arrives with a heavy residue of mud, flaky rust it would be necessary to wash/remove before treatment. We recommend that any heavy accumulation of mud and dirt be pressure washed from the frame and wheel wells a day prior to the application. Note, arrangements may be necessary to allow adequate time for preparation and additional costs may occur.
NHOU is atomized under high pressure which pushes the product deep into the seams, cracks and crevices where corrosion starts. Once applied, the product removes the moisture in these areas and provides a strong adherence to these surfaces, remaining active with excellent “creeping” and self-healing abilities.
While driving habits may vary, we recommend an annual application in order to maintain adequate protection.

How to Apply NH Marine Corrosion Guard
Use when air and can temperature is between 50°F and 80°F and humidity is 60% or less. Avoid spraying in very windy, dusty conditions. Cover the surrounding area to protect it from spray mist.
- Remove all dirt, wax, grease, saltwater deposits, and other contaminants with a high-quality cleaner.
- Rinse with water and allow the area to dry.
- Shake can vigorously for one minute after mixing ball begins to rattle.
- Hold the can upright 6-10″ from the surface and apply thin, even coats using a steady back-and-forth motion.
- Note: Keep the can in motion while spraying; release the button after each stroke.
- Reapply before storing your boat and every week if boating in saltwater areas.
When finished spraying, clear the spray valve by turning the can upside down and pushing the spray button until clear gas comes out. Clean up wet paint with simple green or dish soap. Dispose of empty cans in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
